Golden Regiment Concert Ensembles
Wind Ensemble – The Wind Ensemble is a select group of individuals with specific instrumentation that have participated with the Golden Regiment. Membership is by audition only. The repertoire of the ensemble is extensive and private study is highly encouraged of members of the ensemble. The Wind Symphony is a class that meets (for credit) throughout the entire year and will have several performances including: Winter Concert, Concert MPA (Spring), Spring Concert (May).

Symphonic Band – The Symphonic Band is open to students with previous instruction in wind and percussion instruments and have participated with the Golden Regiment. It consists of modern wind band instrumentation and provides instruction in common-practice period and 20th century wind literature. Private study is highly encouraged for members of this ensemble. The Symphonic Band is a class that meets (for credit) throughout the entire year and performs at events such as: Winter Concert, Concert MPA (Spring), Spring Concert (May)
**Dependent on enrollment and/or student scheduling issues there is also a Concert Band/Instrumental Techniques class offered which will allow students to still have a Band class in their daily schedule and allow them to work on music that will either be for Concert Band, or if Symphonic/Wind depending on schedule conflicts, etc. Percussionists are enrolled in their own specific class but will participate with the Marching Ensemble as well as one of the Concert ensembles
